Mary of Magdala Community in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Co-Pastor. We are all ministers of faith in a progressive, inclusive, Eucharistic Community who gather weekly. We seek a Co-Pastor to preside at liturgy rotations that are simultaneously in person and via Zoom. We welcome candidates who affirm a faith identity that is Catholic or of another Eucharistic denomination and invite what such individuals can bring to our Community.
Qualifications:
- Has and maintains a background in theology, servant leadership, pastoral service, and professional development;
- Communicates well in person, online, through email and on the website;
- Prepares homilies that include community dialog;
- Welcomes member leadership and full participation in worship.
Our expectations:
- Collaborates with Co-Pastor including presiding at an average of two Eucharistic liturgies per month;
- Collaborates with leaders and members of our Community Circles: liturgy and worship, social justice/outreach, administration, financial management, and spiritual formation;
- Participates in Community meetings;
- Participates in local Ecumenical gatherings and activities.
