Fordham theologian, and New Jersey resident, Charles Camosy has an op-ed in the Star-Ledger on some of the reasons the New Jersey Senate and Governor should not follow the House in passing a bill on physician assisted suicide. Camosy is emerging as one of the most prominent young theologians who can write both serious academic tomes and incisive newspaper op-eds, understanding that while a professors first job is to teach his or her students, a theologian's job is to probe and elucidate the teachings of the Church, and not just to fellow academics. Bravo Charlie!
