Good, Not Great, Jobs Report

The Department of Labor announced that the economy added 192,000 jobs in March. Just as importantly, they revised the February and January numbers upwards: The initial reports for those two months were dismal and, it turns out, they were not as bad as feared once the numbers were revised. Also a good sign that the number of people entering the labor market ticked up, which serves to keep the unemployment rate unchanged but also indicates greater optimism about finding a job by people who currently lack employment. Forbes has the story.
