On Immigration Crisis, Bishops Do Us Proud

Several U.S. bishops have stepped up in recent days, not only to voice the Church's continued support for comprehensive immigration reform, but specifically to offer their assistance to the tens of thousands of unaccompanied children coming to the border from Central America.

Cardinal O'Malley had a press conference with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick offering the Commonwealth's support. Pittsburgh's Bishop David Zubik did the same. As did Cardinal George and the Archdiocese of Chicago.

While the politicians dither and posture, our bishops are doing us proud.
