Here is a news item that will be sure to cause some controversy. The Koch brothers have donated $1 million to Catholic University's new Business School. Yes, those Koch brothers, the ones who have led the campaign against climate change science and funded every right-wing venture under the sun. They gift is, ironically enough, going to pay for research into "principled entrepreneurship." I am sure CUA will receive a great deal of criticism over accepting this gift, but I wish to record my defense of my alma mater here and now by quoting the Rev. Jerry Falwell's response when it was discovered that his ministries had accepted large sums of money from the Moonies: "The Devil has had that money long enough."
