Turns out the "replace" is harder than the "repeal" when it comes to Obamacare. Politico reports on the Republicans already beginning to bristle and they have not even gotten to the all too difficult details.
Steve Schneck is on fire. In this commentary at U.S. Catholic he asks where is the voice of the U.S. bishops in the face of Trump's dabbling in white nationalism. Schneck is right, but I wouldn't hold my breath on the USCCB stepping up to the plate anytime soon.
Yesterday, at Mass, the choir sang Poulenc's exquisite "Videntes stellam." Here is a recording of that beautiful music for Epiphany.
