At Commonweal, Tony Annett points to one of the principal difficulties with much of Catholic business ethics, namely, the ethics is kept extrinsic, a kind of add-on, but in the Catholic tradition, ethics should be applied intrinsically, to business decisions themselves. 

At RNS, Cardinal Woelki of Cologne is labeled the "Antichrist" because he is defending Muslims. 

At Politico, Dems in Congress are pushing for the Puerto Rican rescue legislation to recognize what should be obvious: Creditors/investors should not be paid first, and pensions if there is any left over. It is morally obscene to expect the poor to pay up first, so that investors can avoid a small diminution in their expected return.
