At Politico, their "Five Numbers That Mattered" column, of which 48.3 percent is the most important. That is the number of households that no longer have land lines which has made it that much harder to conduct polls and may account for the fact that so many of the polls have been off this year. 

At America, the editors on the Chicago Police Department and its many, many problems. 

And, a belated Happy Feast of St. Dymphna. Yesterday was her feast day but, of course, it was pushed aside by Pentecost. St. Dymphna is the patron saint of mental illness and nervous disorders and her shrine is in Geel, Belgium, which is pronounced the same way as the Ivy League school in New Haven. At the Journal Sentinel, they have a wonderful article about the town and how it continues to care for the mentally ill. I visited her shrine many years ago and can attest to the fact that both the church and the town are lovely.
