The Washington Post notes that most bishops are not alone in failing to mention precisely who was slaughtered in Orlando: Turns out many Republicans fail to mention that too.
The Supreme Court ruled that a law adopted by the Puerto Rican legislature that permitted some restructuring of debt was unconstitutional because Congress did not authorize it. This would have been a nightmare but if the Senate passes the PROMESA bill that passed the House last week, it would authorize precisely this kind of restructuring Puerto Rico so desperately needs.
