At the Washington Post, James Hohmann looks at the fallout from last night's special election in GA-6. The Democrat Jon Ossoff centered his campaign around the themes of civility and moderation. He lost. 

And Politico looks at the questions being raised about the leadership of Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. The other day, I noted that the Republican ads often featured Pelosi. Rightly or wrongly, she has been on the receiving end of attack ads for decades. It is time for new leadership within the Democratic Party, 

At RNS, Mark Silk argues that the religious left shouldn't be afraid of aligning with a political party the way the black churches do already. I am not so sure, and will revisit these issues later this week or next.
