MD Moves Toward Increase in Minimum Wage

Here is a headline from this morning's Washington Post that I like a lot: "Momentum builds in Md. for increase in basic wage." If there is one policy that should unite Democrats in the years ahead, it is raising the minimum wage. It makes good social policy. It makes economic sense. It will not bring about the Kingdom of God, but it will go a long way toward reducing the growth in income inequality.
