Robert Costa, in this morning's Washington Post, is reporting that congressional Republicans have decided to shy away from any big issues that might divide their caucus in advance of this autumn's midterm elections. Hence, the foot dragging on immigration reform. And, those more than one million people tossed off of unemployment benefits. Tant pis! To hell with governance when there is an election to win. If you needed an additional reason to vote against the GOP this autumn, this is it.
