The Archdiocese of Washington released two short videos of recent prayers for peace in the Mideast. The first video is from a Mass at St. Matthew's Cathedral, with excerpts from Cardinal Donald Wuerl's remarks. The second is from an Interfaith Service at the St. Pope John Paul II Shrine. We should never undervalue the importance of prayer, indeed, in the face of the multi-faceted challenges in that troubled region, and the manifestations of such violence and evil, prayer may be the only option.
