Ken Langone, the founder of Home Depot and big GOP donor, recently complained that some big donors were reluctant to write checks because they did not like what Papa Francesco has to say about capitalism. In Boston, the archdiocese announced that the annual cardinal's appeal took in $1 million more this year than last, topping out at more than $15 million.
