The Huffington Post has highlighted the shift in Catholic pastoral emphasis under Pope Francis, compiling a list of some of his more "controversial" statements. It's not a bad meditation. Read the list and then ask yourself: "What if another bishop had said those things, say, at the beginning of the year?" He'd be the object of a Vatican investigation.
