In 2003, my friend Archbishop Harry Flynn, archbishop emeritus of St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minn., archdiocese, issued a pastoral letter on racism, "In God's Image: Pastoral Letter on Racism." Given the national conversation on racism in the days following decision in the Trayvon Martin case, it's worth the read and can be found here.
