The Ledger-Enquirer of Columbus, Ga., has done a service for faithful pet owners. The paper ran a list of eight Catholic and Epicopal churches in western Georgia and eastern Alabama that will host Blessings of the Animal rituals beginning this weekend in the run up to Tuesday, the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assissi.
