Canadian bishops ask that election officers be given time for church

Canada has national elections May 2 with advanced voting on April 22 and 23, which we know is Holy Week.

The president of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops wrote the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada asking him to accommodate election workers who want to attend Holy Week services.
