The vice-presidential debate Thursday will feature two Catholic candidates, a first for U.S. presidential elections, as Vice President Joe Biden and Wis. Rep. Paul Ryan square off at Centre College in Danville, Ky.

Join NCR as we watch and discuss the points and counterpoints in a live chat at 8 p.m. CST. Among the expected commentators will be editor at large Tom Roberts, publisher Tom Fox, columnist Michael Sean Winters and columnist Heidi Schlumpf; you can also expect to see tidbits from NCR editor Dennis Coday, staff writer Joshua J. McElwee and Bertelsen intern Brian Roewe.
