Clergy abuse victims are divided over Pope Francis' offer to meet. SNAP says that the meeting will actually hurt efforts to force the church to reform because it will be all window dressing. 

But, on our site this morning: Mary Gail Frawley-O'dea disagrees with SNAP. She says that survivors should be encouraged, not forced or guilted out of the meeting. 

Bishops are once again pushing Congress for reform on immigration issues. Current immigration laws are "antiquated and inadequate," and the U.S. immigration system is "a stain on the soul of our nation," one bishop said
