Playing for change

Because I spent most of the 1960s in a traditional novitiate and convent culture, I came to appreciate the Beatles and the Grateful Dead late in life, after John Lennon and Jerry Garcia were dead. But their music fills me with joy, energy and hope for the future.

Playing for Change is, as its subheading reads, committed to "Connecting the World through Music." And connect it does. Words fail me here. Words are useless. Take a look at the Playing for Change release of Grateful Dead's "Ripple."

Enjoy.
