St. Joseph sisters launch new publication

Let no one ever take the women religious of our church for granted. I’d venture to say their ranks contain the highest per capita sainthood ratio of any in our church - though don’t expect official canonizations any time soon.

In the spirit of offering kudos to our U.S. women religious, let me congratulate the Sisters of St. Joseph for launching the inaugural issue of imagineONE, an informative and very good looking publication.

The Congregation of St. Joseph is a community of more than 800 vowed women religious, in its words, “dedicated to the love of God and neighbor, committed to sharing life together in community, and missioned to be a unifying, reconciling presence wherever we live and minister.”

The congregation is joined by more than 500 lay associates.

The St. Joseph sisters are at work in the U.S. and in Japan and are involved in education, healthcare, pastoral and parish ministry, social work, spiritual care and faith development, and in other ministries that respond to spiritual, social and physical needs.

Check out imagineONE and learn more about the St. Joseph sisters.

Speaking of tireless dedication pay special attention to some of the sisters’ profiles on page 22 of the issue.
