'Women & Spirit' update

We have received some queries about “Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America,” the traveling exhibit that looks at the lives and contributions of women religious in America from when Catholic sisters and nuns began arriving in what would be the USA in the early 18th century up through today.

The exhibit is a project of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious. Here is the schedule:

    Statue of Liberty National Monument / Ellis Island Immigration Museum (Liberty Island, New York)

    The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium (Dubuque, Iowa)
  • June 17, 2011 - August 14, 2011
    Mount St. Mary's College (Los Angeles, California)
  • September 2, 2011 - December 31, 2011
    Center for History in association with the University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College (South Bend, Indiana)
