Full text of the readings

“Is God among us or not?”(Exodus 17:7) And, to paraphrase the wandering Israelites, if God is among us, why is everything going wrong? Why are we suffering so much? How do you answer this Exodus question? Does God protect us from suffering, or does God participate with us in the struggles of life? Where is your God? How close? How far away? If you wanted to record video of God, where would you point your camera?
