Jim FitzGerald to head Call To Action


The Board of Directors of the Chicago-based Call To Action church renewal group has chosen Jim FitzGerald as its new director.

FitzGerald comes joins Call To Action with a background in non-profit administration and theology. He holds a master’s in educational psychology from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY and a master’s in theology and ethics from Hartford Seminary in Connecticut. He has seven years experience at the senior level in organizational management including strategic planning, fundraising, public relations and financial administration.

FitzGerald has been a Call To Action board member, chapter leader, and NextGeneration local facilitator. Making the announcement, The Call To Action board said it “is fortunate at this critical time in our country and church’s history to have someone with such a diversity and depth of expertise, in addition to a deep dedication to the mission of our organization.”
He will join the staff starting Aug. 1.

Pat O’Connell’s has been the transitional director since the departure of Call To Action’s founders, Dan and Sheila Daley last year.
