Time goes on. Can you believe it's the seventh anniversary of the election of Pope Francis? Pat Marrin made a special cartoon for the occasion.

There's a nice film trailer linked in Chris Herlinger's news piece about a new documentary called "Wells of Hope." The film is structured around Alwan telling the story of a young Syrian refugee named Shaima, whose life takes a tragic turn when she accepts an offer of marriage to a man in Turkey who turns out to be an imposter and involved in a human trafficking network. Hats off to Talitha Kum for spurring the creation of this educational, and emotional, tool for raising awareness about human trafficking.
