The Holy Father spoke to the Christian Workers' Movement in the Paul VI Hall last week and his words are worth studying, especially by by conservative friends who like to bash unions. He calls for a capitalism with a human face which, I would suggest, is not likely to be forthcoming from the capitalists.  

On the other hand, this text of a 2010 speech given by Richard Trumka, President of the AFL-CIO, highlights ways in which a more humane capitalism might be forged. 

In Chicago, Archbishop Cupich and others brave the cold to stand up for life, and a black pastor makes the point that if black lives matter, and they do, why is there so little concern about the abortion rate in the minority community?
