Papa Francesco's Sermons

The Holy Father's daily sermons are really little treasures, like this one about the need for Christians not to become perennial complainers. Vatican Insider runs a synopsis every day. They show a man who is not so far removed from being a parish priest that he feels the need to dress up his language in high falutin' verbiage. They are simple, straight forward, and it is my most sincere hope that people will listen to them, really listen, and see in their simplicity not a throwback to a simpler time, but an invitation to really ask ourselves if our faith is deep, if we let it make its claims on the entirety of our lives, if we have the courage to resist the temptation to compartmentalize our faith or be satisfied with a lukewarm belief.
