The Human Brain

Amazingly, there are almost the same number of neurons in the brain as there are stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. Each brain cell has several thousand finger-like projections extending from both ends that connect and communicate with neighboring brain cells. These connections are called synapses, and billions of new ones are created each second in the early years of life! Babies are born with nearly 100 billion neurons, which is all the brain cells they will ever need.

It is the day of days when the inner eye opens to the unity of all things.
